*Articles 11-19 deal with assisted reproductive technologies including surrogacy, in vitro fertilization, artificial insemination, and egg and sperm donation.

|Permitted and regulated practices=*The act allows foreign residents, couples (including same-sex), and/or individuals to undergo the process of surrogacy to become parents.
*Egg donation is permitted.
*Surrogate mothers may use own eggs or donor eggs.
*Note: There have been proposals for new laws to prohibit foreigners from hiring Armenian women to be surrogate mothers for them, because many believe that “the usage of Armenian women’s womb for giving birth to foreigners’ children is unacceptable.” [1]
